Career Guidance

Career counseling, also known as career guidance, is counseling designed to help with choosing, changing, or leaving a career and is available at any stage in life. One's career is often one of the most important aspects of adulthood, and embarking on a new career, whether for the first time, the second time, or any time thereafter, can be a stressful event, especially when economic difficulties such as recession are a factor. A career counselor can help by outlining and discussing one's potential career options.

Personal Goal Setting

Goal setting is grounded in psychology and based on the belief that humans can change their behaviour and work towards a goal. Goal setting is important for rehabilitation because it can provide the patient with motivation, particularly when they are functional and directly relate to real life activities. A meaningful goal can maximise patient engagement and motivate a patient to participate in rehabilitation in order to achieve their goals. For example, an elderly patient in rehabilitation following a hip replacement who wants to return to living independently in their own home with their spouse. In order to do this, the patient needs to be independently mobile and therefore can see the importance of participating in physiotherapy.

Happy Life

Happiness : It's a beautiful life : Happiness is the "secret sauce" that can help us be and do our best. Research has shown, Happy people have better relationships, are more healthy, successful, satisfied with life, less stressful, resilient and live longer and better quality life. While some people just tend to be naturally happier, there are things that you can do to cultivate your sense of happiness. Let's find it out in this workshop, how to embrace eternal happiness.


Conscientiousness is a fundamental personality trait—one of the Big Five—that reflects the tendency to be responsible, organized, hard-working, goal-directed, and to adhere to norms and rules. Like the other core personality factors, it has multiple facets; conscientiousness comprises self-control, industriousness, responsibility, and reliability.

Resilience Building

Resilience is the ability to recover from setbacks and adapt to challenging circumstances and is required to thrive and flourish. It is a foundational psychological tool that empowers us to feel effective and capable of handling uncertainty.

Decision Making

To be or not to be ? Decision making is a process of problem solving , in any situation, be it personal, social or professional. Decision-making process is a reasoning process based on assumptions, values, preferences and beliefs of the decision-maker, highly influenced by emotional status and can be rational or irrational. Rational decisions will lead to our goals, productivity, prosperity and happiness and irrational decisions will lead away from our goals, destruction and unhappiness. Self 2.0

Self-management, which is also referred to as “self-regulation,” is the ability to regulate one’s emotions, thoughts, and behaviors effectively in different situations, and to build new thinking patterns, skills and behaviors, to reach maximum potential of oneself. This includes managing stress, delaying gratification, motivating oneself, and setting and working toward personal and academic goals. Easier said than done. Mindset Shift

Mindsets are lenses or frames of mind that orient an individual to a particular set of associations and expectations. Mindsets, like beliefs, guide attention and motivation in ways that shape physiology and behavior; they are related to but distinct from heuristics, which are mental shortcuts used to make decisions under uncertainty and allow individuals to make decisions quickly and efficiently to solve problems.


Communication issues may potentially develop in any circumstance or social relationship. It can be easy for individuals to misunderstand or misinterpret others, and these misunderstandings may lead to arguments or tension in personal, platonic, or professional relationships. In some instances, conflicts may arise, and these conflicts can make communication even more challenging. It may be helpful to have the support of a therapist or other mental health professional when exploring the reasons why communication issues occur or while working through any distress or difficulty that occurs as a result of frequent communication issues.
